GREEN BAY - A painting estimated to be more than 250 years old is now on display in Green Bay after being restored.

The painting had been at the Brown County Public Library and Neville Public Museum for the past 90 years.

It was bought by the Green Bay-De Pere Antiquarian Society in 2007.

The group’s goal was to keep historical items in the community.

The painting called "The Hospitality of St. Julian" is now on display at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay.
