An historical unveiling of two rare, restored paintings took place on October 8, 2010 at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The art work is significant to Wisconsin history and the international art world. It reveals connections between Green Bay, Europe (France and Italy), Rufus B. Kellogg, and artists George P. A. Healy and Cristofano Allori.
"The Extraordinary Unveiling of the Conserved Paintings of Rufus B. Kellogg & Hospitality/The Prodigal Son" event was hosted by the Green Bay & De Pere Antiquarian Society and the
Neville Public Museum. Associated Bank sponsored the event.
